ClubsNSW finalist in three categories

In an amazing achievement, Canterbury has been recognised as a finalist in three different categories in the 2017 ClubsNSW Clubs & Community Awards.

The projects Canterbury is nominated for this year are ‘Feeding the Homeless’ with Maronties on Mission (Health & Wellbeing), ‘Thriving not Surviving’ health program with One Door Mental Health (Disability, Welfare & Social Inclusion) and ‘Canterbury Learning Links’ program with Canterbury Hurlstone Park RSL, Campsie RSL and The Lantern Club (Clubs in Collaboration).

Winners will be annouched at the ClubsNSW Awards Dinner on Sunday 15 October.

“This is the first time Canterbury has been nominated as a finalist in three different categories and we are very appreciative of the recognition of our work in the community. Thank you to ClubsNSW for this nomination and I wish everyone the best of luck at the awards dinner,” said Dr George Peponis OAM, Chairman of Canterbury League Club.
