Congratulations to Janette Elachi

Last month Canterbury League Club held the draw for the ‘Win a Kia Sorento’ competition.

Long-time Member, Janette Elachi, was the lucky winner drawn on the night by Canterbury’s Chairman George Coorey. She was ecstatic to hear her name called and to receive the keys to a brand new Kia Sorento valued at $64,174.

On the draw night, the Club was filled with thousands of members who came for a chance to win and to witness the historical moment.

“I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone at Canterbury, to offer a huge congratulations to Janette Elachi,” George Coorey, Chairman of Canterbury League Club said.

“There was an energy throughout the night with barely an empty spot throughout the Club. This was the largest competition that Canterbury has held, and I thank all the Members who entered and attended the draw.”
