Congratulations to our Kia Stinger winner – Saide Chalhoub

From everyone at Canterbury, a huge congratulations to long-time Member Saide Chalhoub, who won herself a brand-new Kia Stinger valued at $65,722.

The Club’s second Kia car giveaway was just as popular, if not more popular, than the first one and drew in many interested punters keen to hear their names called out as one of the fifteen finalists. At the Major Draw night, finalists then had the chance to choose one out of fifteen briefcases – fourteen contained $250 WISH cards and one contained the car.

Tensions continued to rise as the finalists stood behind their chosen briefcase – some chose briefcases based on their lucky numbers, some chose briefcases based on whether it was on the stage or within walking distance – but all wondering if they’ve chosen wisely.

In the end, all it took was one lucky finalist and one lucky briefcase!

At first, Saide didn’t realise she had won the car when she initially opened her briefcase. It took a few seconds before the amazing news sank in and after that, her shock soon led to happy tears.

“I would like to take this opportunity, on behalf of everyone at Canterbury, to offer a huge congratulations to Saide Chalhoub and hopefully she’ll enjoy the drive!” said George Coorey, Chairman of Canterbury League Club.
