FIFA World Cup kicks off at Bulldogs Sports Bar

Preparations are now complete and the world is getting ready to support their favourite teams as they compete in the 2014 Brazil FIFA World Cup.

Halfway around the world, Aussie fans are gearing up for a month-long soccer fest of games, sleep deprivation and increased coffee consumption.

During the entire World Cup season, Canterbury soccer-mad fans can watch every single game live at the Bulldogs Sports Bar. For those wanting a quick bite while watching the games, the Bulldogs Sports Bar will be serving hot food, drinks and hot beverages. A full menu will be available closer to the games.

The other dining option is the Banyan Coffee Shop which is open 24 hours, 7 days a week for those who prefer light sandwiches and cakes instead.

The first match will kick off on Friday 13 June at 6am (AEST time) with local hosts Brazil taking on Croatia in the first game.

Kick off time for the Final game will be on Monday 14 July at 5am – teams such as Argentina, Spain, Brazil, France, Germany and Belgium will be leading the charge to be in the final two in what will surely be an epic finals match.

With multiple large television screens in the Bulldogs Sports Bar showing the games, viewers will be able to catch all the kicks, penalties and the goals of what is sure to be an exciting month so come on down to Canterbury today.
