Zumba lovers will be excited to see the class back on C-Life’s weekly group exercise timetable starting from September 13.
A blend of high and low-intensity moves performed to beat-pumping dance music, Zumba is often called exercise in disguise as participants have loads of fun moving and grooving to popular songs.
Based on C-Life members’ feedback, the new Zumba class will be on at 3.30pm every Saturday afternoon and go for an hour. There is a possibility in the future for more Zumba classes throughout the week depending on numbers.
“Several years ago Zumba was on our class timetable and initially numbers were excellent. However we lost a key instructor which eventually resulted in the class being removed. We now feel that we have found a new instructor our members will respond positively to – Sheila Quarta has been teaching Zumba for over three years with a great following around the Canterbury and St George area,” said Arthur Siambis, C-Life Health Club Manager.
There is no extra charge to current C-Life members however new non-members who would like to just attend Zumba will need to be a member of Canterbury League Club as well as pay the casual price of $10 per class. Alternatively non-members can purchase a 10 visit Zumba pass for $85.
