WILD ABOUT REPTILES

Posted on Wednesday, 25 September 2013

Over 100 excited kids descended to the Paragon room this morning to see and touch the live reptiles from the fun and interactive Walkabout Reptile Show.

‘Patch’ the blotched Blue Tongue Lizard and ‘Spot’ the Children’s Python proved to be crowd favourites among the other frogs, snakes and even the small salt water crocodile on show.

Aside from displaying the reptiles, the troop from the Walkabout Reptile Show also led the kids through some entertaining songs and kept their audience interested with great reptile facts.

This popular school holiday show was fully sold out on the day but there are two other fantastic shows at Canterbury that will keep your kids amused and engaged during the school holidays.

Come and join your favourite singing and dancing animal characters from the Circle of Life show as they re-enact the biggest hits from Disney’s The Lion King. This show will be held on September 30 at 10.30am.

For kids who prefer to move about and dance, we have the Jiggle and Giggle show on October 2 at 10.30am. It focuses on self-development while having loads of fun and is suitable for children aged 3-12 years.

For more information or to purchase tickets click here or visit Canterbury reception. All children must be accompanied by an adult. Parents and babies 12 months and under do not require a ticket to enjoy the show.

The space-themed Galaxy Play area is also available to play in over the school holidays and is a great spot to keep your kids entertained while enjoying a meal or coffee and cake at the Banyan. It is open every day from 10am-5pm and 5.30pm-10pm.

Canterbury is a great place to be during the school holidays so come bring your kids for a day of fun and entertainment.
