2013 CANTERBURY STAFF SERVICE AWARDS

Sixty-nine long service awards were given out at the recent Canterbury League Club Staff Service Awards.

These awards recognises Canterbury employees who have provided the Club with 5, 10, 15, 20, 35 or 40 years of service.

Three of the longest serving Canterbury employees recognised on the night were Christine Mitchell, Eva Silvestri and Bridget Burchell. These lovely ladies were presented with flowers, a gift and a 40 Year Award certificate. Another noteworthy mention goes to George Cocokios for providing 35 years.

“We would like to thank all our employees for their continual support of the Club and their constant hard work and dedication to providing the best customer service for our guests and members,” said Dr George Peponis OAM, Chairman.

“Special mention goes out to the four fantastic employees who have tirelessly worked year after year after year – their efforts have helped shape the Club to what it is today.”
