Spreading a Little Easter Joy to Canterbury Hospital Staff

At the heart of everything Canterbury does is community – and this Easter, we were proud to share a small token of appreciation with those who give so much.

Earlier this month, the Club donated 50 chocolate Easter hampers to the incredible team at Canterbury Hospital. These were distributed across departments to staff working through the Easter period, including those on duty on Good Friday and Easter Sunday.

The response from the hospital team was truly heart-warming: “There were lots of smiles, laughs & giggles and grateful comments from staff about Canterbury League’s Club generosity on the day – you truly made their day!” said Cathie Spiker, Director of Clinical Governance & Risk at Canterbury Hospital.
