Supporting Bright Futures with Learning Links

Long-time community partner, Learning Links, are set to continue their amazing work after a $60,360 donation from Canterbury League Club through the ClubGrants program.
With this renewed support, Learning Links can continue delivering its vital Reading for Life and Counting for Life programs, which work with students in more personalised, small-group learning sessions to tackle literary and numeracy, to schools in the local area.
A portion of the funding will also be supporting Learning Links Resilient Kids Project, working with children at risk of, or have experienced, traumatic situations and circumstances such as domestic violence, grief, abuse or neglect.
These critical services nurture confidence, academic skills, social connection, and emotional wellbeing in children who might otherwise fall behind.
“Canterbury is proud of our long relationship with Learning Links, supporting their incredible literacy and numeracy programs in our local schools,” said Canterbury League Club Chairman Peter Winchester.
“It’s really special for us to be part of something that’s helping kids thrive at school and beyond.”
