Canterbury League Club Donation supporting Rev. Bill Crews Foundation’s Mission

Canterbury League Club, for the third year running, donated a generous $5,000 worth of tinned and packed goods to the Rev. Bill Crews Foundation’s Christmas Food Hamper drive.

Players and staff from Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs Rugby League Club also generously volunteered their time to unload the donated goods at the Ashfield facility.

The Rev. Bill Crews Foundation provides vital services to vulnerable and disadvantaged individuals, including medical care, social work, counselling, a daily soup kitchen serving up to 2,000 meals, and food parcel assistance to combat homelessness and poverty.

“Canterbury is proud to support Rev. Bill Crews in feeding a community in need,” said Peter Winchester, Chairman of Canterbury League Club. “Times are challenging for many Australians right now, so we are always happy to help vulnerable and disadvantaged community members in any way we can such as through food donations.”
