Canterbury staff sharing the Christmas love with toy drive

Children in need within the local area will be having a brighter Christmas this year after Canterbury staff members donated a cartful of toys and a cheque for $2,200 to the Campsie Salvation Army.

The toys and donation were collected at the recent staff Christmas party, held at the Club, which was attended by over 150 staff members and their plus ones.

The atmosphere that night at the Flame Pizza + Grill and spilling into the Heritage Bar was a jovial one – the food was delicious and plentiful, the mood was merry and entertainment provided by The Kami’s and a DJ was rocking the crowd.

Staff had a great time mingling with their friends and work colleagues in and around the restaurant and there was also a handful of staff getting their groove on the dance floor.

“Our staff are the heart of the Club so we just wanted to say thank you and show our appreciation for their hard work and dedication throughout the past year,” said Dave Brace, CEO of Canterbury League Club.
