Canterbury visits hospital with Easter cheer

Patients in Canterbury Hospital’s children’s and maternity ward received delicious chocolate treats last Thursday when Canterbury League Club donated 20 Easter hampers.

Canterbury CEO Dave Brace together with Customer Services Manager George Cocokios, and Engage Rewards Host, Amos Chia, were on hand to present the children and new mums with boxes filled to the brim with chocolate eggs.

Bulldogs player Josh Reynolds, a Canterbury Hospital Ambassador joined in to meet with patients and help with the gift giving.

“It was a fantastic experience to be at the hospital congratulating the new mums and dads and visiting the kids in the Gumnut Ward. Their looks of surprise when they saw how much chocolate was in each hamper were priceless,” said Dave Brace.
