New EV Chargers now available for Public Use

Canterbury recently installed four brand-new electric vehicle (EV) chargers in partnership with Exploren, making it easier than ever for the community to power up their cars while visiting the Club.

The four new charging stations, providing up to 22kW charge, are located on the Blue Level of the rear car park, directly opposite the Club Entry. Charging rates start from $0.40c/kWh.

Patrons wanting to use the EV chargers will need to download the Exploren app and bring their own Type 2 connector cable to get started.

“EV and plug-in hybrid (PHEV) ownership is increasing across Sydney, and more drivers are looking for easy places to top up while they’re out and about,” said Greg Pickering, CEO of Canterbury League Club.

“Our new chargers make it simple – park your car, plug in your cable, and continue enjoying everything our Club has to offer whilst your car is being charged.”

To use the chargers, download the Exploren app to view availability, pricing, and session details in real time.
