Sweet donations for RSPCA’s Cupcake Day

Cupcakes were the theme of the day when staff of Canterbury League Club came together to raise funds for RSPCA’s Cupcake Day.
The day saw $554 in total raised from staff donations with funds going back to help RSCPA shelters, clinics, inspectors and animals.
Some of the food cooked and donated by staff included cupcakes, muffins, quiches, lamingtons, crackers, cheese, donuts, salami and dips.
Fundraising events like Cupcake Day and Million Paws Walk are important to the RSPCA since they receive less than 3 per cent of its funding from the government. These events help to raise donations as well as increase awareness of animal welfare and prevention of animal cruelty.
