Thank you for supporting our pink month!

For the entire month of October, Canterbury turned PINK to show support for National Breast Cancer Foundation’s (NBCF) Breast Cancer Awareness Month and in the process, raised $733.55 for the prevention and cure of breast cancer.

Canterbury fundraised by pledging a portion of pink dessert sales from Banyan Brasserie, through donation boxes at Reception, and also from C-Life members who donated their time and money by sweating it out in pink group fitness classes.

Canterbury staff members also got into the spirit of things by holding two staff charity sausage sizzles in the staff room which, by itself, raised over $300! Thank you to our hungry staff members who donated gold coins for such a great cause. Staff also participated in special pink exercise classes run by resident Spin and Pump C-Life instructor Matt – for every staff member who did the classes, Canterbury donated $10 on their behalf.

Thank you to everyone who participated and donated throughout the month of October! Your kind generosity will go towards NBCF and the important cancer research they do to help prevent cancer deaths in the future.
