Vale, Tony Charlton

Canterbury is deeply saddened by the passing of former Canterbury Director Tony Charlton.

Tony was a local Canterbury-Bankstown Junior before playing first grade with another club. He then became the Bulldogs Reserve Grade Coach from 1984-86.

He was elected to the Board of Canterbury League Club in 2004 and served as a Director until 2014. He was a Member of Member’s Disciplinary Sub-Committee and Co-Patron of the Squash Club.

During Tony’s time as a Director he helped with the development of Canterbury’s Master Plan which included Flame Restaurant, Heritage Bar, Terrace Bar, Bulldogs Sports Bar and C-Life Health Club.
